The practice of all physical yoga, comes under the banner of ‘Hatha’ Yoga. This training will enable you to skilfully teach Vinyasa Yoga.

Please be patient with us and other students in this process. Our team are doing the best they can under these circumstances and our priority is always the health and happiness of our community.
These terms and conditions outline important information about becoming a The Dock Studios member. Please be sure to read this document mindfully before you join and if you have any questions please be sure to ask us prior to agreeing to these terms. The terms of this agreement nullify anything that you may have been told by anyone. If you have been told anything different to what is contained in this document then you should discuss this with us before agreeing to these terms. The terms and conditions of our studios may change from time to time and you will always be able to see the most up to date terms and conditions here.
These Terms & Conditions of Use (this “Agreement“) apply to: (1) all of the products, services and websites offered by The Dock Studios, including, but not limited to, the Website; (2) mobile, tablet, internet television, or other digital or electronic versions of the The Dock Studios platform; (3) any The Dock Studios software; and (4) any applications created by The Dock Studios whether available through a social networking site or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies (collectively, the “Service“).
This Service is not directed to persons under eighteen (18) years of age.
Please read this agreement carefully before using the service.
This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the information and data gathered by The Dock Studios Pty Ltd (“us”, “we”, “The Dock Studios”, "The Dock Studios") when you use this service, how we store your information, information we collect and to the degree your information may be used.
The Dock Studios takes your privacy seriously. We do not rent, sell or share your personal information with 3rd parties, except as listed below. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, you are a registered The Dock Studios user, we will attempt to inform you of any material changes by email. Otherwise, please check back frequently on The Dock Studios website for the latest and most updated privacy policy posted here. The Dock Studios provides you with the opportunity to review, remove and modify any personal information that you provided previously under the Data Protection Act 1998, please contact us directly by email to make changes to your personal information. You may also update your personal information by logging into your The Dock Studios account and updating your details by clicking your username at the top right of the page then clicking Settings.

Please follow the instructions given to you by our team when you sign in for where to place your mat in the studio.
Yoga mats will be placed to observe social distancing.
We will not be offering hands on adjustments during class at this time.
Our team will allocate you a space in the room when you arrive. Please follow the instructions given to you by our team when you sign in for where to place your mat in the shala.
Leave your shoes where indicated by our team/studio signage, please do not take them into the shala.
Please place personal belongings in the lockers and take the key with you into the studio.
Please do not take your phone into the shala, turn it off and leave it in the lockers provided.
Place your mat on the designated markers in the shala.
We will not be offering adjustments throughout classes.
At the conclusion of class don’t forget to collect all your belongings.
Please sanitise your hands at the end of the class with the sanitiser provided.
We would love to chat after class however; we need to be mindful of cleaning time before the next class and the number of people allowed in our studio at any given time. If you have questions after class and do not get a chance to speak with our team please do not hesitate to contact us.
The structure of our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training takes place over 5 seperate modules in Adelaide with 7 a day immersion in Bali. The spacing of the modules will allow for integration, study and practice time. We take pride in our inclusive, non-dogmatic and fun approach to study and yoga.
Our 200hr course will cover 21 days of gathering together as a group. You will also be required to attend at least 15 extra yoga classes, totalling 180 contact hours. You will complete a minimum of 20 non-contact hours by the way of homework plus on-going self study.
When you view or use this site as a “Visitor” or purchase a membership or service from us as a “Member”, you agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
You agree that the information contained in this agreement outlines a complete agreement between you and The Dock Studios (“us”, “we”, “The Dock Studios”).
If any part of this agreement becomes invalid or discontinued you agree that the remaining parts will continue to be valid.
If The Dock Studios does not enforce its rights under this agreement that does not mean that we are waiving those rights. Our rights under this agreement may still be enforced.
We only collect the personal data you choose to provide us during your registration process. As part of the registration process in order to use The Dock Studios’ services you need to provide us with your Full Name, Address, Email Address, Phone, Country, State, Post Code, and Billing information, including credit card data, Paypal & Google Checkout information. All data is stored in Australia. You may elect to not provide any of the above info, but you will then not be able to use The Dock Studios services or certain features. We will keep your data for up to 30 days after your account is deleted. After the 30 days all your data is fully removed from our system.
We may collect and store certain information about your interaction with The Dock Studios website and services, including cookies, IP Addresses, browser type, device type, location, Internet service provider (ISP), entry and exit pages, operating systems, time/date stamps, and other related data. The Dock Studios uses this information, only to improve the quality of our services and products. If you choose to decline cookies via your browser, you will have some limitations in using The Dock Studios services.
The Weekend Modules
The Weekend Modules will be non-catered - students are responsible for their own accommodation, food and travel to and from the Studio.
The Bali Immersion
6 nights twin share accommodation in Bali is included in the price.
Arrive at the accommodation on Friday, 23rd May 2025 and depart the morning of Friday, 30th May 2025.
Your stay will be fully catered and is included in the price. This includes 3 meals per day, unlimited tea, coffee, filtered water and fruit. This also includes a welcome dinner on arrival day, and breakfast on the departure day.
A free transfer from the airport to the accommodation is included. You are also welcome to make your own way there. If you wish to stay an extra night either before or after the immersion, you can do so at your own expense and you will need to organise this directly with the resort.
You will need to book and pay for your own flights to and from Bali, including organising your own visas and travel insurance.
We will clean and sanitise all yoga equipment we provide.
We will regularly clean and disinfect the studio especially high touch points such as door handles, handrails and surfaces.
We will provide cleaning supplies for you to clean equipment used in the studio.
Here is what we are doing to ensure your experience with us keeps you and us healthy and coronavirus free. We ask that you practise personal hygiene and respect our guidelines while in the studio. If at any time you have questions or concerns in these matters please let us know.
The studio
We will clean and sanitise all yoga equipment we provide.
After every class, we will thoroughly clean the shala floors.
After every class, we will open windows and doors to circulate the air and refresh the shala.
We will clean and disinfect all high touch points.
We will provide cleaning wipes for you to clean any yoga equipment you bring to the studio.
The toilets
All surfaces and taps will be cleaned.
Common areas
All high touch points like door handles, handrails and surfaces will be cleaned

If you wish to become a Member and/or otherwise make use of the Service, you must read this Agreement and indicate your acceptance during the Member registration process. In consideration of your use of the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the Australia or other applicable jurisdiction. You also agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form available on the Website (the “Registration Data“) and (b) maintain and promptly update your Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, The Dock Studios reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof) at any time. v Materials (as defined in Section 10 of this Agreement) and The Dock Studios Content (as defined in Section 10 of this Agreement) on the Service (collectively, “The Dock Studios Content“) is provided to you “AS IS“ for your information and personal use only and may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any other purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of The Dock Studios. Other than rights expressly granted to you, The Dock Studios reserves all rights in and to the Service and the The Dock Studios Content.
The health of our team is a priority and we follow all current SA Health guidelines. If changes to the schedule are necessary to accommodate updated guidelines, we will notify you as soon as possible.
A physical yoga practice, with or without the use of equipment such as blocks, straps or any other equipment that may be suggested by a The Dock Studios teacher, is a strenuous physical activity. Accordingly, you are urged and advised to seek the advice of your doctor or treating practitioner before beginning any physical exercise regimen, routine, program, or using any suggested equipment shown in any classes.
The Dock Studios is not a medical organisation and its teachers cannot give you medical advice or diagnosis. All suggestions and comments relating to the use of equipment, poses, moves and instruction are not required to be performed by you and are carried out at your election. Nothing contained in the Service should be construed as any form of such medical advice or diagnosis.
By agreeing to these terms you accept that you have no detrimental medical or physical conditions that you are not aware of that may prevent you from participating in our classes.
By using the Service, you represent that you understand that physical exercise such as yoga asana involves strenuous physical movement, and that such activity carries the risk of injury whether physical or mental. You understand that it is your responsibility to judge your physical and mental capabilities for such activities. It is your responsibility to ensure that by participating in classes, Immersives, courses, programs and activities from The Dock Studios, you will not exceed your limits while performing such activity, and you will select the appropriate level of activity for your skills and abilities, as well as for any mental or physical conditions and/or limitations you have. You understand that, from time to time, teachers may suggest physical adjustments or use of equipment and it is your sole responsibility to determine if any such suggested adjustment or equipment is appropriate for your level of ability and physical and mental condition.
The health of our team is a priority. Please be aware that with limited staff and stricter absentee guidelines (that will include testing for any team members who demonstrate COVID-19 symptoms) we may have to cancel classes. Please know that we will do our utmost to find a substitute teacher to take the class and will let you know asap if the class has to be cancelled.

When you register to use The Dock Studios services or by purchasing any products from a vendor using The Dock Studios services, your email will automatically be listed in the The Dock Studios mailing list. You will receive welcome information, account information, and other marketing related information related to The Dock Studios services and the products you viewed and purchased. You may also receive periodic emails from us notifying you of new classes, products, events, trainings and other related information for The Dock Studios services. You may choose to opt out of receiving emails from The Dock Studios, but if you choose to do so, you will not receive technical support requests, account updates and notifications, product updates, security updates or updates to the Terms of Services as well as updates to Privacy Policy of The Dock Studios. At anytime if you forget your account information, you may log back onto The Dock Studios website and click forgot login on the login area screen, a password reset link will be emailed to you with further steps to reset your account info.
The training comprises of 180 contact hours and at least 20 non-contact hours by way of homework and on-going self study.
The 180 contact hours include attending 15 public classes in person or online during the training in addition to the weekend modules and Bali Immersion. These classes can be taken with any yoga teacher at any studio/online platform.
The contact hours are as follows:
The Weekend Modules will be: Friday 6.00pm-9.00pm, Saturday 1.00pm-6.30pm and Sunday 9.30am-5.30pm at The Dock Studios in Port Adelaide.
The Bali Immersion will be an intense (and fun) week of learning and practice. The days will start at 7.00am and finish sometimes as late as 9.30pm. You will have extended breaks over meal times and small breaks throughout the day.

The Bali Immersion will be held in the beautiful natural surroundings of Ubud, Bali. Details of the accommodation will be provided upon receipt of a deposit.
By agreeing to these terms, you recognise there are certain inherent risks as outlined above associated in performing the moves and poses as instructed in the Service and you assume full responsibility for personal injury to yourself and further release and discharge The Dock Studios for injury, loss or damage arising out of your use of the Service, whether caused by the fault of yourself, The Dock Studios or other third parties. You expressly waive and release any claim that you may have at any time for injury of any kind against The Dock Studios, or any person or entity involved with The Dock Studios, including without limitation its directors, instructors, independent contractors, employees, agents, affiliates and representatives.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Dock Studios, its subsidiaries, affiliates, subcontractors, officers, directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of this Agreement; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that one of your submissions of Content caused damage to a third party. This defence and indemnification obligation will survive this Agreement and your use of the Service.
You agree that practising with us involves a risk of minor and major injury, soft tissue injury, broken bones and joint injuries and that you practise using the instruction provided in the Service at your own risk.
In the event of The Dock Studios goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by or with another company, including partial or all assets, any personally identifiable information we have on record will likely be transferred with the transition.
We employ and protect all data with SSL encryption and other security measures to ensure you that your data is protected and safe. However please be advised that while we take extra measures to protect your data and integrity of your information, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent unauthorized access from occurring. Please take the proper steps to maintain the security of your account information. We highly recommend that you set a tough to guess password for your registered account with The Dock Studios to ensure others from easily guessing your password.
Once you have been accepted onto the course and paid a $300 deposit, you will be sent a list with essential reading material and suggested reading material for the course. You will also be given your pre-course assignment.
The Dock Studios Content offered by The Dock Studios is for information purposes only and does not make you eligible for certification by any governing or accreditation body to teach yoga. The Dock Studios is not a member of any yoga-related governing accreditation body and therefore cannot guarantee that the curriculum meets the standards developed by such organisations. You agree not to hold yourself out as a certified yoga instructor based on completing any of the classes or Services or use The Dock Studios name as a certification or accreditation body for purposes of teaching yoga. Further, you expressly waive and release The Dock Studios and its directors, instructors, independent contractors, employees, agents, affiliates and representatives of any claim arising from or in connection with teaching yoga or a violation of the terms as provided herein.
The Dock Studios Content is not directed to persons under eighteen (18) years of age, and by providing information about yourself to The Dock Studios you are representing that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to become a Member and purchase Services. By agreeing to this Agreement during the sign up process, you represent and certify that you are legally able to enter into any and all purchase agreements with The Dock Studios and its partners, vendors, agents and service providers.
Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
The Dock Studios offers membership subscription-based access to its Content and Classes, as well as one-time purchases of workshops (“Immersives”) or courses intended to instruct a person related to a specific area of study or on a particular topic that can be viewed for a limited period of time (“Online Courses”). The Dock Studios reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, or reschedule any The Dock Studios Content, Immersive, or Online Course. Subject to your payment of any applicable fees (including applicable taxes) and your compliance with all of the other terms The Dock Studios specifies for the Service, The Dock Studios grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferrable, limited right and license, so long as the Classes and/or Immersives and/or Online Courses are available on the Service, to access, view, use, and display Classes and/or Immersives and/or Online Courses for non-commercial, private use.
Membership Subscription to Classes
Billing for Membership to Classes. Memberships, which provide you with access to Classes, are billed on a periodic basis as specified at the time of purchase (e.g., weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or yearly). Memberships do not include access to Online Courses. Your Membership subscription will continue in effect on a recurring basis corresponding to the term of your subscription unless and until you cancel your subscription or the account or the Service is otherwise suspended or discontinued pursuant to this Agreement. If membership is cancelled or terminated before the end of the applicable billing cycle, The Dock Studios will not reimburse the Member for the remainder of that paid month. Members may cancel their membership at any time. Membership must be cancelled prior to the renewal date in order to avoid additional membership charges. At times, special prepaid membership packages will be available for purchase at varying lengths of time as specified at the time of purchase. Special prepaid memberships will be recurring and will renew automatically on the expiry date.
Pricing for Membership Subscriptions. When you purchase a membership subscription, you will initially be charged at the rate applicable at the time of your agreement to subscribe. If The Dock Studios later increases the price of the subscription, The Dock Studios will notify you via email. The increase will apply to the next payment due from you after the notice, provided that you have been given at least 10 days’ prior notice before the charge is made. If you are given less than 10 days’ prior notice, the price increase will not apply until the payment after the next payment due.
No Sharing of Membership Subscriptions. Members of The Dock Studios may not share, give or sell their password or username to any other person or entity. Excessive viewings or logins by any Member will be construed by The Dock Studios as fraudulent use of the Service, which will result in the immediate cancellation of membership without refund. When becoming a Member you agree to take all actions possible to protect your username and password from fraudulent use. The Dock Studios reserves the right to cancel any membership it believes has been compromised, or is being used fraudulently, at its own discretion.
You have the right to ask us to not process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise that right by contacting us at hello@thedockstudios.com.au
If you register on the Service, you will be required to choose a password and user name, and you may be asked for additional information regarding your account, such as your e-mail address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify The Dock Studios of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session. Each registration is for a single user only, unless otherwise expressly provided on the registration page. You may never use another Member’s account without prior authorisation from The Dock Studios. The Dock Studios will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Agreement.

If The Dock Studios determines in its sole discretion that you are violating any of the terms of this Agreement, The Dock Studios may: (1) notify you, and (2) use technical measures to block or restrict your access or use of the Service. In either case, you agree to immediately stop accessing or using in any way (or attempting to access or use) the Service, and you agree not to circumvent, avoid, or bypass such restrictions, or otherwise restore or attempt to restore such access or use. If The Dock Studios terminates your account or suspends or discontinues your access to the Service due to your violations of this Agreement, then you will not be eligible for any credit, refund or discount or other consideration.
Materials on the Service, including, without limitation, names, logos, trademarks, images, text, graphics, videos, photographs, illustrations, artwork, software and other elements (individually and collectively, “Material”, “Content”) are protected by copyrights, trademarks and/or other intellectual property rights owned and controlled by The Dock Studios or by third parties that have licensed or otherwise provided their material to The Dock Studios. You acknowledge and agree that all Materials on the Service are made available to you for limited, non-commercial, personal use only. Except as specifically provided herein or elsewhere on this Service, no Material may be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, downloaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, or otherwise used for any purpose, by any person or entity, without The Dock Studios prior express written permission. You may not add, delete, distort, or otherwise modify the Material. Any unauthorised attempt to modify any Material, to defeat or circumvent any security features or to utilise the Service or any part of the material for any purpose other than its intended purposes is strictly prohibited.
Due to the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable Content. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the Australia or the country in which you reside.

(a) release and forever discharge us and our officers, employees, agents and contractors from any and all claims, actions, disputes, demands, proceedings, accounts, interest, costs (whether or not the subject of a court order), expenses and liabilities of whatever nature and however arising which you may now have or at any time thereafter might have or, but for these terms and conditions, might have had against us or our officers, employees, agents or contractors arising out of or in any way connected with or incidental to the use or misuse of the Website (including in relation to any communication which you upload to the Website);
(b) covenant in favour of us and our officers, employees, agents and contractors not to bring or pursue, procure that a third party bring or pursue, provide financial support for or otherwise support any claim, action, dispute, demand or proceeding in any court or tribunal in respect of any matter which is the subject of a release under clause 9(a); and
(c) irrevocably indemnify us and our officers, employees, agents and contractors against any claim, liability, loss or expense arising out of or in any way connected with or incidental to:
(i) the use or misuse of the Website by you or your officers, employees, agents or contractors, or authorised, enabled or facilitated by you or your officers, employees, agents or contractors; and(ii) any breach of any of these terms and conditions by you.

These terms and conditions are governed by the law in force in South Australia. We and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction in Adelaide, and any court that may hear appeals from any of those courts. You irrevocably waive any right you might have to claim that those courts are an inconvenient forum and any objection to the venue of any proceedings on the ground that they have been brought in an inconvenient forum.
